Tip #1: Blogging 101

In 101 - Beginner Basics, Websites and Blogs on October 5, 2009 at 7:03 pm

office3_128What is a blog?

A blog is a space online that allows anyone with basic computer skills to publish anything they want online. Think of it as a really easy way to have your own website and talk about anything you want. In fact, blogs are very similar to traditional websites and chances are, you’ve visited a lot of them yourself (although you might not have realized it).

Blogs can be very useful for entrepreneurs. They provide a quick and easy way to let your potential customer know what you’re about and to keep your current customers or prospects up-to-date on your products and services.

There are many free services online that provide blogging platforms. Blogger and WordPress are two of the most popular services. They are both free, quite user-friendly, and you can register and set up your blog in minutes.
